Detectives Investigate an Early Morning Stabbing/Homicide in the City of Lake Worth Beach
At approximately 1:20 a.m. on August 29, 2026, deputies responded to a reported stabbing in the 700 block of N. F Street in the City of Lake Worth Beach. Upon arrival, deputies located four adult male victims suffering from apparent stab wounds. All four victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, one of the victims was pronounced deceased. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Traffic Division is conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol on September 5, 2026, September 6, 2026 and September 7, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM, on major and secondary roadways throughout the Palm Beach County and surrounding districts. Deputies will conduct high visibility enforcement of all traffic violations, with an emphasis on removing impaired drivers from our roadways.
Suspect Wanted for Theft from Sailfish Marina Resort – Ship Store
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a theft from the Ship Store located on Sailfish Marina Resort. On August 18, 2026, at approximately 7:10 pm, an unidentified male entered the Ship Store alongside Sailfish Marina restaurant. The suspect was wearing a polo shirt, shorts, and dark colored sneakers.

During the month of May, agents initiated a narcotics investigation into Jimmy Gilles. Based on the information and evidence developed during the investigation, agents established probable cause and obtained a residential search warrant for his residence in Boynton Beach.
State Attorney’s Office and FDLE Investigate Deputy Involved Shooting – Unincorporated West Palm Beach
On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, shortly after 8:00 p.m., deputies responded to a welfare check in the 2900 block of Hope Valley Street in unincorporated West Palm Beach. Upon arrival, deputies encountered the suspect engaged in a physical struggle with his mother and father while armed with a kitchen knife. Deputies repeatedly issued verbal commands for the suspect to drop the knife; however, he refused to comply and continued fighting with his father while remaining armed.
